I can’t say enough good things about our experience. When I brought my dog in, he was very nervous, and Karen took the extra time to sit with us and help him warm up instead of rushing him back. That meant so much to me. He’s a wirehaired dog, and she hand stripped him beautifully—he looks amazing. She was also very efficient while still being gentle and attentive. I really appreciated that she listened to my concerns about him not tolerating the blow dryer, and somehow she even managed to blow dry him successfully and without stressing him today. It’s clear she’s skilled, patient, and truly cares about the dogs she works with. Highly recommend!

First time at The Paw Spa. Melissa groomed my ShizTuz wonderfully! My sweet girl looked beautiful! I like the “by appointment only” policy. They groom one dog at a time, which I LOVE! 50 minutes in & out causes me less anxiety & my doggie. I was able to sit in the lobby or outside in my car. Definitely going back in 6 weeks!

When we moved to Lynchburg we were in dire need of a new groomer, and with a dog that is very sensitive and has a lot of needs, I was worried I wouldn't find one that fit us. Originally, I called the Paw Spa looking for mobile grooming (I have a border collie with some pretty bad anxiety, as well a seizures) and a big, busy salon just wasn't the fit for us. Their mobile grooming wasn't available at the time, but the team there have gone above and beyond for me and my dog Love. We get booked days that are early, where it's typically just her at the time and she's ready within an hour or so, so that the anxiety and stress is minimal. Melissa and Lindsay were truly dog lovers and my dogs took to them immediately. Melissa was excited to groom my shaggy large golden doodle and I gave her artistic license to do whatever she wanted- he looks so darn cute!! Great experience and I would definitely recommend this place 💕
