The Modern K9

My puppy has been a daycare tourist and tried five in the Rochester area. Modern K9 offers a good balance between play and training and boundaries. My dog is doing better with the enrichment option and the staff are helping him finally to greet people on four paws. Not everyone enjoys a big puppy putting paws on their chest or shoulders to say hi! He comes home more tired with the enrichment session also so I suggest that over the basic. I have friends who take dogs there and are also very impressed with the services.

Our puppy has been going to Modern K9 for about three months now, and he has better focus and behavior (we purchase the daycare + 1 training package). Both Morgan and Katya are super helpful and professional. They readily provide tips for us to continue the training at home. He is also better socialized as a result of attending daycare.

LOVE The Modern K9!! Morgan has been taking my puppy for daycare lately and she comes home tired and well behaved! I get a cute picture and an update on what they have been working on! It is so nice to know my puppy is in great hands and practicing good behaviors while with Morgan. I have also used Morgan for boarding and she is the only local person I will use! With boarding or board and train options I can tailor my dogs' stays and I know all of their needs will be met. I can even add on a bath and paw trim so my dogs come back looking fabulous! She can handle my perfectly behaved border collie as well as my dog selective and reactive aussie. I never doubt that all of my dogs will be safe and loved while staying with her. The Modern K9 is the total package!

Louie loves his time at Modern K9! And his human appreciates the training/obedience tips and lessons! The facility is kept very clean (without any bad smells). The number of dogs is the perfect size for individual time and attention.

Dyson Jo has spent 3 days at daycare this week and he has had an amazing time socializing with structure and playtimes! I'm so thankful to Morgan for taking care of him this week. She has so much experience and is so attentive. She helped take care of my first puppy and is now forming a relationship with my second. Dyson has come home exhausted and has been so excited to walk back in the daycare door the next morning. I'm excited to see how ModernK9 grows and how my dogs can benefit from their experience there and with Morgan as an experienced trainer and dog advocate.
