Irie Kennels

I took my 1 year old Goldendoodle to Irie Kennels for 5 days while I was on vacation. The owner has been doing this for 35 years and he is great at what he does. He takes his time with each dog and earns trust with them. My dog loved the owner & came back with a calm happy demeanor. His behavior also improved. He had lots of fun at Irie Kennels. Definitely recommend!

My dog had just the best time here! I took him for one day of doggie daycare. While there, he got to play with other dogs his size; which is a big deal for him as he's an Irish Wolfhound. When I picked him up, he was all wags. And, when we got home, he flopped out on the couch and snoozed for hours. The staff is amazingly kind and extremely accommodating. I needed to drop him off at 6:30 am because I start work so early, and it was only a $5 fee for them opening up early for us. Total, it was $20. And if you go on the website, you'll see that the more time in a week your dog attends, the bigger the discount. The other telling thing is that this place is spotless. We took our dog to Irie Kennels for the three years we lived in Rochester and they took the ABSOLUTE BEST care of our dog. She was always excited when we'd pull up to the kennel, and the staff was always excited to see her. It was very clear that they cared about our pup, and we highly recommend Irie Kennels if you're ever looking for a place to keep your doggo if you live in Rochester.

Our two dogs LOVE going here. When they see the car being packed, they know their own vacation at Irie Kennels is going to be FUN! The dogs get lots of playtime with other "friends" out in the yard and now in the indoor play area. The owners are careful to make sure all the dogs play nicely and are getting along. They make sure to know each dog's personality and quirks. We get a report card every time we pick our dogs up. I would recommend Irie to anyone. These people truly love dogs!

My dogs LOVE Irie and the family who owns it. They are taken care of and looked after so well when they stay at Irie, I wouldn’t dream of taking my dogs anywhere else. It’s on the opposite side of town from where I live but is 100% worth the drive knowing the quality and value we are getting. I have recommended them to everyone who asks about local boarding and daycare and will continue to do so!
