The Country Vet

Words can’t express how grateful I am to have experienced dealing with The Country Vet. They took my dog in, in a pretty much critical state and were welcoming, compassionate, knowledgeable, proactive and caring. The facility is clean. Staff are friendly. Prices are reasonable. This has been by far the best experience I have had with a vet.

Went to get one of my older cats a check up just because it was the time of the year to have an annual, my Donny came back with diabetes after Being perfectly fine and they IMMEDIATELY asked for a down payment of $300 leaving no room for kindness. Over the past few days he became really skinny and not being able to walk right, we took him to the country vet again which was another mistake because when my mother went to go pick him up because I was working, she saw that they had crates and ANIMALS STACKED UNTOP OF EACH OTHER. Bunny, birds, cats, hamsters, all different types of animals just stacked ontop of one another in crates. After that morning we found him in my moms room not being able to move and being skin and bones, this was not diabetes, donny was a very healthy cat for 7 years, a

I have 3 dogs (had 3, then 2, now 3 again). They have been taking excellent care of them all. Additionally, when the one died, they were amazing in helping me get through it.

Last week I brought my dog to be evaluated by Dr Yates, she has been a patient there for aprox 13 years. She had suffered a severe seizure the night before, she was 18yrs old, blind and deaf, so we assumed this was end of life. Dr Yates never initiated a conversation about her quality of life, nor brought up letting her rest in peace. We were traumatized and I guess waiting for the conversation, we were depending on his years of experience to tell us this is it, instead he brought up drawing blood and going from there. I hate to make it about money but I think he did, so $260 later we took her home. His office closed and ten minutes later she continued with horrific seizures, so hard to witness, with nothing we could do. After another seizure we packed her up and took her to 24hr emergency

Over the years, every single staff member has treated our animals and our family with care and compassion. I wouldn't dream of going anywhere else, unless they referred me to something specialized. Highly recommend for cats, dogs and horses!
