Low cost walk in on a sat with the travel vets was just amazing. I didnt get to view the shelter side but the side i was in was very clean.

First time checking this shelter out. Very nice and clean. Very friendly employee as I walked in. Went to visit the kitties. The volunteer was friendly and helpful with questions. Said I could come back and visit any time. They can always use donations. Such as food, treats, pet toys, blankets, towels etc. I would call to see what they need. I walked out of there knowing that those kitties were being well taken care of. Thank you for doing what you do to care for them. Wish I could of taken 1 home with me. But I have 5 already at home. Whom I love very much. They are my heart. ❤

Kind of selfish to only be open til 1pm Saturdays and closed Sundays. Those are the main days you would get adoptions with a typical work schedule. Also establish an actual website, not just a messy facebook group if you want these animals to get adopted. No way of calling the shelter without calling the city. & they don’t have an established volunteer program which is also something else they should have a website for.

The woman at the front desk is extremely rude and unprofessional. Wasn't told to bring back any contacts when we got our cat fixed, just the paperwork from the vet. Basically threw the vet paperwork back at us saying she couldn't do anything. Even though the cat is linked under my ID, she COULD HAVE just looked it up...

Liked everybody. They need help , there are many dogs and cats. I adopted an adult dog which had a cough . The vets that I took her to just kept giving me meds nothing seemed to work . I don't recommend this to everyone but I gave my dog raw unfiltered honey. 1 tablespoon for large dogs , 1 teaspoon for small dogs . By the 3rd day she was getting better and finally the cough was gone. Do not give to dogs that are diabetic . This dog was also thin and run down. I do not regret adopting her and I'd do it again. These animals need help and the workers are doing their best. I'm glad to say my dog is happy and healthy and very much loved . Try to help this shelter if you can by volunteering or donating.
