I am new here, was happy with previous care, but distance became a factor. My 2 minischnauzers are my precious children, and as a retired MD I am very picky about their care. Dr. Bredehoeft gave the most comprehensive physical exam I have ever seen on a dog! We had very interesting, enjoyable, and thorough medical discussions. He and his staff are very competent and caring, and I am so happy to have found this place.

We recently moved to the area and started bringing our pups to SAH. We have moved around quite a bit through the years and so far the care and compassion we have received for our dogs at SAH has been the best of any veterinary office we’ve been to. I have never felt rushed during our appointments and they take the time to listen to any concerns we have. One of our dogs, Ginger, started to decline very quickly so we took her in last week to get checked out. Dr. Benmoha provided a few different options and I truly appreciated her transparency and understanding while we tried to decide on the best and most humane option moving forward. We made the very hard decision to put our pup down and the entire care team was so kind throughout the entire process. We also received a card a few days late

Vet care is expensive so I don’t base reviews on that piece of info. Instead I focus on the care. Dr. B. has this amazing ability to just help you feel calm in the midst of panic when your dogs hurt. She is extremely personable & thorough. She even calls to check up on them at No addt’l cost which is so rare. Amanda is a vet tech who is a gem as well. Very knowledgeable & comforting. The front desk is always cordial & professional Overall, a GREAT place to take your pets for care.

We've been bringing our French bulldog to Switzerland Animal Hospital for years, and when something was seriously wrong, they were exceptional every step of the way. In January 2025, our Frenchie hurt her back while playing in the backyard and suddenly struggled to move. The team here recognized the severity immediately, diagnosed her with IVDD, and wasted no time referring us to a specialist (UF Small Animal Hospital). That quick, decisive action made all the difference in her outcome. We're so grateful to have a vet we can trust to do right by our girl when it counts most. Highly recommend!

So grateful to have found this amazing vet clinic for our baby Simba! Everyone was so kind, caring, and gentle with him. We had a wonderful experience and truly feel he’s in great hands!
