Specialty Veterinary Pharmacy

I live in British Columbia, Canada, and my kitten was diagnosed with a rare parasite. The symptoms were horrible and exhausting to deal with. She was severely sick day and night, and I was constantly waking up to take care of her. This went on for months, and it was incredibly stressful and heartbreaking to watch. The medication she needed wasn’t available in Canada. My vet clinic wasn’t able to import it because the pharmacy they usually order from was out of stock, and they were unable to contact other compounding pharmacies. I was told to wait until the U.S. pharmacy they work with had it back in stock. SVP is the best compounding pharmacy our clinic uses. Their customer service and efficiency in getting out orders in a timely manner make our job much easier. Their price point is great and offer all different types of formulations.

I have been using this pharmacy for well over two years now, and have had no issues up until my last few visits. I have always chosen the "pick up" option for my pet's prescription and pick up through the curbside. As of recently, I have been met with extremely unpleasant customer service. Whether it be over the phone when I am calling to schedule a refill, or even when calling to verify that I'm waiting for pick up, I am always met with a response as if I am inconveniencing the staff because I am there to pick up. My pet's prescription also got put on the delivery truck after I verified I would be picking up, and I didn't get it until the next day. Additionally, I recently called to schedule a refill in which the very rude male representative told me that they would not refill my prescrip

I keep a supply of the pills for Tail and he is now luxuriating in my mudroom and enjoying the Life of Riley. That was the name of an old Black and white TV show when I was a girl.
