Dr. Perla and staff are very caring people. I’ve never felt rushed. They take their time to fully review everything and explain your concerns. Once, I brought my mother in law’s dog in with an eye issue and Dr. Perla was very transparent with the course of treatment and a plan be, should that fail. Luckily, it was able to clear up within a few weeks of Dr. Perla’s care and follow up visits. I’ve gone in with appointments and gone in as a walk in on numerous occasions and always pleased with the treatment. Wait time transparency has been great! The prices are great, especially for those of us who have numerous adoptees. I’m thankful for their care.

I’m not sure why so many complaints about the wait time. If you’re reading these reviews like I did and still decide to go then you choosing to deal with the wait. We arrived at 1:30 and left at 5:30. The girl at the front desk was busy but polite. She got us checked in and told me she’d call when it was our turn. I just waited in my car like most of the people there. Every vet tech was sweet and caring to my dog. I didn’t interact with the doctor much but while he was in the room he check my dog and gave his recommendations. He even tried to waive the exam fee as what I thought I needed wasn’t necessary. The price is reasonable and I’d come back. But definitely I’d come in the morning when they first open for a shorter wait

I’ve lived in this area for over six years and initially brought my pets to this clinic. Over time, I stopped going because I began to feel like the doctor was quick to prescribe medications without fully addressing the root issue—just trying to get patients in and out. Unfortunately, I recently had an emergency with my dog and, despite my reservations, returned to the clinic, hoping it was something minor and she just needed a little extra care. I was hesitant to proceed with the treatment plan and new medications because I didn’t feel confident she had a real chance at recovery. When I asked the doctor directly, he assured me that my dog could live another five years. He continued prescribing medication—even though she couldn’t swallow or close her mouth properly. I will always give this business 5 stars! I’ve been going to Dr. Rao Perla for almost 10 years, starting at the original location. I have and will always trust him to see all my dogs (currently have 2 dogs and 1 of them has a lot of health problems so we go regularly). His office is always clean and every technician and person at the front desk has been open and friendly. It shows in this office they truly care about all animals. The only downside is if you’re a walk in, the waiting time ranges from 30 minutes to almost 2 hours BUT I will still continue to recommend him and his office!

It was our first visit, so we couldn't make appointments. We sat and waited for almost 2 hours before our cats could get their annual shots. Now that we are "official" to them, we can make appointments in the future.
