Although I haven’t adopted from this location myself. SPCA is a great place to find a new family member, with inexpensive and quick adoptions. And ALL animals are spayed, neutered, and have their vaccinations. They offer community resources. And have been very helpful, and are in need of donations.

Took them a stray and they turned it away because it was a male. They had no clue about what happened to an injured pregnant stray they took about 3 weeks prior or what happened to her. Saw multicolored haired person vaping in a doorway and another female worker clearly not wearing a bra, who looked like she just fell out of bed around noon. Not what the website makes them out to be at all. Heard another person there say, “they don’t really seem to care about animals, they just seem to be doing the bare minimum to collect a paycheck.” This is the stuff of nightmares! Wish I would have taken videos or photos but was so disgusted it didn’t even cross my mind in that moment. Gross!

So grateful for Providence bringing Lodi into my life and my roomie being agreeable to her. Lol. Naps loves her and we're grateful to rescue her from being abandoned in 20 degree weather at 8 weeks old. She's 10 weeks old now and putting on some good muscle and growth.

We adopted our cat Ginny from BCSPCA almost 4 years ago! The shelter is small (they're trying to expand) but fantastic. They did not pressure us and helped us find our perfect addition. Ginny has grown up with our daughter, and they are inseparable. We are driving 45 minutes there today with a box of donations because they're that worth supporting!

I took a stray there 8-23-24. I made it clear to call me & let me know how the cat was doing or prognosis. I sent a few emails inquiring & I received email back today that they put him down. I told them I wanted know bc I would have took him to another vet for 2nd opinion bc I have people who help with cost of bill. This is absolutely disgraceful to animals and the little baby I took there. I thought spca would do better. Don’t take any animal there.
