Barks and Recreation

This was the first time dropping my dog off at a doggy day care and I felt really confident about my dog’s care and safety when driving away. The employees here are so kind and the facility is nice! I can’t wait to bring here back! :)

Had to find a place almost last minute for my fur-child to stay while I attended a family wedding out of town. Karyn & her staff are absolutely amazing. I am definitely a separation anxiety human as much as my fur-child is a separation anxiety doggie. All of them made us feel so welcomed. They answered every question I had while touring and even encouraged I bring Opal with me so she could at least become somewhat familiar with the area and scents. I loved getting my picture updates each day from Karyn. It really set me at ease to see Opal so happy. Karyn was also so sweet and kind enough to reach out when she noticed Opal's eyes watering and moved her to a different area to board to help alleviate the allergies she was experiencing. 100/10 would recommend. The absolute best place in town! Ozzie absolutely loves Barks and Rec! He has a strong personality so I was a little worried about him, but the staff takes such great care of him and treats him like their own. He gets excited before we pull into the driveway, and he cries and watches the building fade when we leave which I take as a great sign. 100000% recommend!

We’ve been taking our 4yo Redbone Coonhound to daycare weekly since 10/2024. Wonderful place, wonderful staff, reasonable prices and great hours. Reba always pulls me in when we get there, but also pulls me out! It’s a great means of exercise and socialization for our dog while we’re at work. Also, the staff has been known to make paw art or take festive pictures around the holidays. So sweet (and impressive on the staff’s part)! I highly recommend this facility. I know Karen and her staff are willing to accommodate you and your pet’s needs. They strive to please and are good at what they do. Check them out. They won’t disappoint!

Barks and Rec saved my vacation. I was running out of time before my departure date and could find no place with space available for my furry best friend. I saw the Barks and Recreation sign and decided to reach out. I was super happy with the entire experience. The staff was friendly and you can tell the care they have with the dogs. Barks and Rec has an app which makes it super easy to make reservations, message staff member, communicate any changes needed during your stay, and pay your bill. I signed up to receive a text photo of my boy each day of his stay and I loved that feature. In past boarding experiences at veterinary offices, etc my guy gets nervous and stops eating. During his stay at Barks and Rec he did just fine. In my daily texts he looked happy and he ate well, no signs of
