I'm not sure I can really put into words how I feel about my experience we had at the clinic. Dr. Byrd and Lauren were absolutely amazing. So many people in the world have pets, and they treat them as such. Then there are those of us who have extensions to our families. Dr. Byrd and Lauren understand that. They were patient, understanding, caring, and loving with Penny (my pup). Before we got started, they were also very understanding to my banking account. Lauren went over everything that needed to be done, and what could wait. She understood my financial situation, but she also understood my concern for Penny. We worked out a small plan, that would insure Penny got the attention she needed for the visit, but also for the days, and weeks to come. We're back at home, and Penny is running

I truly cannot express how wonderful this team of staff is. Specifically, Dr. Byrd, Dr. Kearney, Kortni, and Nikki are quite literally the only reason my kitty is alive and well today. Not only did they do an INCREDIBLE job with my cat, but the reassurance, support, and education they provided me and my girlfriend with was invaluable. They stayed hours late saving her life in surgery and offered us so many resources and options. Words cannot express how indebted I am to them.

Simply astounded by how reassuring and professional the entire staff was for anxiety, both mine and my pets'😁 This animal hospital has my thanks, and my recommendation for anyone looking for high quality pet healthcare. Special shout-out to Dr. Sydni Hendricks and her team, who very clearly explained everything to me and had detailed answers to my few questions. There's no doubt in my mind that the staff finds their job fulfilling and is dedicated to the best health outcomes for their patients, which is great!

Love Dr. Roe and the whole team at Southwest Animal Hospital!! Great service and super knowledgeable!! Love the thorough testing they do to keep and treat the health of our beloved fur babies!! We highly recommend them!!

I've brought all my dogs to Southwest since we moved to Jeff City in December 2020. We usually see Dr. Roe but have seen other doctors too when she's all booked up. Every doctor, every vet tech, and even the receptionists are all so wonderful to talk to and work with. My Brittany can be very nervous at times, but they are always so patient with him. My Jack Chi can be slightly aggressive, but they listen to me on how to work with him and all goes perfect! I really like that we're a team to help take care of my dogs.
