We left our French Bulldog "Zoey" here for 2 weeks for boarding and a bath. She was a perfectly healthy almost 3 year old puppy when dropped off. When we picked her up on Saturday evening she didn't sound right and wasn't acting like herself. Tuesday morning we decided she needed to go to the Vet because something was really not right with her. We ended up at the University Animal Hospital in Columbia and they figured out she had fluid in her lungs, but everything else checked out healthy. But fluid on her lungs was so bad they couldn't do anything to save her. We don't know how her lungs ended up full of fluids and Honey Creek did give her a bath that morning. Of course Honey Creek Pet Resort denies anything was wrong with her. Please don't make the mistake we did. Be careful who

Do not take your animals here. We had used them a few times without issue but recently My parents left their healthy 1.5 year old dog there for two weeks and 72 hours after they picked her up she was dead. She seemed hot and thirsty when they picked her up and her breathing seemed off. Honey Creek denies anything happened to her but something obviously did, she had fluid in her lungs and was down three pounds (she was a small dog, so that’s considerable). Please don’t make the mistake we did and trust these people with your pets.

My two doggos love this, place! Zoey and Chase are loved on and treated so well that they literally freak out when they figure out where they are going. The staff is beyond amazing and they are very affordable. They have been our boarding go to place for years and will continue to be so into the future.

We were looking for a place to board our 2 dogs for the weekend, and explored a few different options and asked around. Many people recommended Honey Creek and had good experiences there. We decided on taking them there, and the whole experience was seamless and easy, from the drop off to picking them up complete with baths! They got extra play time on top of it! Overall they seemed happy when we got back to town and will get "spa time" again when we take a trip! 5 stars ⭐.

Their prices are very reasonable. The facility and yard for the dogs is clean and attractive. The staff, every single person we met, was very nice to people and animals alike. I have a very large dog, who was very overstimulated by all the new sights, sounds, and smells. He is an English Mastiff, and although he's super chill at home, we've not had him out in nearly enough new situations. He's calm at his vet's office, because he knows what to expect. The staff at Honey Creek were true professionals that seemed to recognize this and stayed calm, allowing him to mellow out. When we picked him up, he was happy, well fed, and did not smell like a kennel. I highly recommend this facility and thank them for their obvious love of the animals.
