Southside Animal Hospital

I remember when my puppy was hit by a car. It was over the weekend, so I had to closely monitor him until that Monday morning. I took him into Southside Animal Hospital and they began to treat and run test on him. They came back to let me know they could treat him and it was going to be costly but, they would work out a payment plan for me. Needless to say they got him healthy and on his feet again. That was 23 years ago and my fur baby passed away in 2009. I have a Yorkie that is 16 years old and a 3year old Shih Tzu now and I wouldn’t trust them with any other Animal Hospital! I love Southside Animal Hospital! 🥰

I have taken both of my dogs here after recently moving to the area. They did great. But today, when I called at 8:30 am they told me they have plenty of room for walk ins so I arrived before 9:30 am. When I arrived, I waited in the waiting room for an hour and a half. They then called me back into a room, where I waited another hour and a half. I eventually walked out and told the I can’t wait anymore and all they said was “I’m sorry”. I heard the workers in the back discussing who was going to tell me that I wasn’t going to be seen. Nobody ever told me, nobody came into the room even once to check on us. Very unprofessional. Communication that I wouldn’t be seen would have been understandable, but that never happened. My cat was in a lot of pain with burned paws from a stove. Went to ano

They have been great with my animals. Especially my Rico. He’s an old man with a couple issues. They have an ear medicine that’s done wonders for him. His more troublesome issue was his eye. He got glaucoma in his right eye. It ruptured one day and he was in terrible pain. They were able to get his eye out immediately and he was home the next day. He’s doing so much better now. He’s back to his old lazy self. lol. The prices are very reasonable. The staff is knowledgeable, and they have always been friendly to me. I am incredibly grateful to the people at Southside Animal Hospital.

I love all the staff and Doctors at southside been going there for at least 25yrs since I moved to GA. All my Babies are taken care of very well.

Dr Layton & all staff have been AMAZING ! We came in for an emergency 🚨 they handled my old man with great care! Even kept him OVERNIGHT because I brought him in late in the afternoon and did not break the BANK 🏦 . So very thankful for Dr Layton and her staff 💝
