Southern Country Pet Care

It is loud and hectic there with too many dogs in individual kennels all in the same room. I was warned by someone with previous experience with Southern Country that it was too hectic and that I probably shouldn't leave my 15 year old Beagle mix rescue there. In spite of the warning, I took Patches by for a brief visit and again for a half day care. He seemed fine and I was promised by the manager that they would take special care of my 15 year old boy. Patches had a history of a couple of seizures back during the summer, but had gotten so much better that I really believed it would be fine. I wish I could give this place a good review. It seems as though the Foster pet that I was boarding with them was well cared for. Unfortunately, I spoke with the manager of the facility & ok'd a Facebook post stating I was looking for adopters for her through their business' Facebook page. I never found a Facebook post on their business Facebook page so I thought perhaps they had decided not to post it. Southern Country Pet Care has been so good to our sweet boy! He is so excited every morning to go play with the other dogs. If my wife and I are ever out of town for multiple days we trust that they will take good care of our dog while we are gone and keep us informed with how he is doing!

I have used Southern Country for Boarding and Daycare for my 4 year old Goldendoodle, Max. Whenever I mention going to play he knows where we are going. He starts barking when we turn down the road! He wants everybody to know he is on his way! I have also boarded him when we go on trips. Have always found the staff to be friendly and good to Max!

We always use Southern Country for boarding our dog, Abbott. He gets so excited as soon as we turn into the driveway. He can’t wait to get through the gate and doesn’t even say goodbye to us! We have used Southern Country often and not had an issue.
