Greyhound Crossroads

This is a great greyhound adoption group serving SC, parts of NC and parts of GA. Lots of good information about greyhounds on the website.

Have had an incredible experience with greyhound crossroads everybody I have spoken too has been just incredible. We adopted our little princess apricot just a few days ago but you can tell Her fostering was incredible because she is an impeccable dog they really are there for you every step away. I believe negative reviews are inaccurate. Definitely would recommend!

2/22/23 Updated. Ms Owens from Greyhound Crossroads never called me, never left me a message, or texted me. OBVIOUSLY Ms. Owens, I would have been happy to respond. Having put aside my reservations about contacting you as I was more interested in the welfare of the dog!! You MIGHT teach owners to update websites that their dogs missing status was reported. It would save a lot of time and aggravation! And OBVIOUSLY I did CARE about the dog, as I contacted a adoption coordinator from the Carolinas for assistance!! We all know better than to ASSUME! I will always put aside my personal differences to help any dog in need. I hope you will do the same. Not helpful at all! I absolutely love Greyhound Crossroads! I adopted my first greyhound from them three years ago. I thought so highly of Greyhound Crosshounds that I drove hundreds of miles after I moved out of state to adopt my second greyhound from them last year. I will only adopt from them. They also have a wonderful Facebook page that offers support, answers questions, etc. The board members are very active in the group and eager to help.

Greyhound Crossroads is an amazing adoption group to work with. They take a lot of pride in matching you up with the right greyhound for your home. I was looking for a companion for my 10 year old mixed breed girl. The folks at GC took the time to meet me and my shy girl, in our home. They matched us up with a wonderful brother for Maggie. A year later, they helped us adopt brother number 2. They continue to support you after adoption and are great about answering questions and providing guidance. I've seen them take dogs back when a situation changes and a grey must find a new home. I get a lot of comfort knowing that if anything ever happened to me, the great folks at GC would make sure my boys are taken care of and find them an awesome home.
