I love Dr Nick and Dr Fiamengo!! I have been a client of the Slade Vet since back in 1990. I recently had to say goodbye to Sam, my companion of 11yrs(she was as 22yrs old). Dr Nick was very compassionate. I brought her in because she was very sick. Dr Nick evaluated her thoroughly and addressed my concerns. We both decided that the humane thing was to say goodbye. A week later I adopted another senior cat. I knew there was going to be health issues but there was a lot that I wasn’t prepared for. Also, many things have changed from when I first adopted Sam back in 2014. They both listened to my concerns and addressed them in detail. I felt like I found great partners for Sweetie’s care. I had such a positive experience communicating with Ashley. Even though I am not currently a client of the clinic, she went out of her way to be kind, patient, and incredibly resourceful while helping me find information and pointing me in the right direction. It is rare to come across someone who is so genuinely helpful without any expectation in return, and it really made a difference for me. If this is the level of care and compassion they show to someone who does not even go there, I can only imagine how wonderful they are with their actual patients and pet owners. Ashley truly made my day, and I am very grateful for her help. Highly recommend based on this interaction alone!

Dont waste your $ or your pets health. Slade was the best bulldog vet until they were sold a few years back. Since ive had them tell me one of my dogs had cancer and send us to tufts which they did not. I gave the benefit of a doubt. Today my dog had a tick illness and mistreated it. Sent us home without steroids for the immune analytic anemia. I called for steeoids when my dog had coffee colored urine and asked for steroids. The receptionist said the vet refused to talk to me over the phone and said go to emergency vet. Today went back there for follow up appointment and the vet outright refused to give it and said go to tufts. After talking down to me and making me feel like shot for saving my dogs life. All the good vets left after the sale. Beware of Vet care.

I brought my puppy Mickey, 3 months old, to get his second round of distemper shots yesterday. The staff made us feel welcome from the start, from remembering Mickey’s name to even their tone of voice. Everything about it is just so comfortable and homey. When getting his shot, thanks to the attention and care of the doctors, he didn’t even flinch. They played with him and gave us advice on his training and care. Overall it was a great experience.

Spent several thousands at Slade in Framingham over last year and a half. Right before one of the last visits we had to attend a family emergency out of state and needless to say didn’t even think about calling a vet to cancel. They told me they will charge me some fee for not letting them know about cancellation in advance, which was not even disclosed to us. Needless to say I refused and then their manager contacted me and said that this time they will wave it, but next time I should let them know in advance. Okay Fast forward to todays visit front desk proceeds to add over $160 for no show that I was told is waved. Weird business policy. Charge $400 for 30 min appointment with an allergy shot and some wipes, and then tack nonsense no show fee. Will gladly speak to the manager again to r
