Just had the most awful and unprofessional experience at Petsmart with my cavalier King Charles, Rocky. Both the head groomer, Kevin, and store manager Jess, refuses to groom our dog at his given appointment time after accepting him gladly at drop off. They called us five minutes after drop off saying he was a danger to employees and himself and he had to be picked up immediately. Rocky is the most gentle dog, who has been groomed at this location for many years, boarded at the pet hotel there and banfield is even our vet. He has never posed a problem anywhere. Back story - Kevin had an issue with my husband and other dog last week and said he was only accommodating us today. He wasn’t accommodating, we had an appointment. I am very disappointed with the grooming service at PetSmart Framingham. I took my Golden Retriever, Clark, for the most expensive bath and haircut package, and the result was terrible. His haircut was poorly done, he was still damp when they gave him back to me, and even his ears were wet because they didn’t dry him properly. On top of that, every time I’ve paid for this service they’ve always included a bandana, but this time they didn’t even put one on him. For the price I paid, I expected much better quality and care. Unfortunately, I don’t think I’ll be bringing my dog back to this location.

The Dog training class was wonderful. Every class the instructor came in full of energy and ready to work with the puppies. Puppies are difficult students but she really was great at getting them to pay attention and learn. She also gave the owners a lot of great information.l Now my dogs recall is much better and she knows several new tricks. My dog stayed here and she had a great time. She was very happy when we picked her up and that was all the proof I needed. That said they sent me a photo and it was clear she had a blast playing with the other dogs.

For doggy hotel and daycare only: my dog comes home happy. Doggy day camp price is slightly less than competitors. Doggy hotel is in line with competition. Staff is fine - not super outgoing and friendly but not rude either. Not giving 5 stars because I find I often have to wait several minutes at the desk for a staff member. Day after day those minutes add up and get annoying. The QR code they have at the desk to call a staff member doesn’t seem to do anything.
