We sent our black lab puppy to Blake at Sinking Creek Kennels last October for 8 weeks of training, and the experience was outstanding. Leaving her was hard, but we knew she would be in great hands—and we were right. Blake’s facility is spotless, well-maintained, and set on beautiful land that’s perfect for dog training. During her stay, she learned so many valuable skills, and now, months later, she has retained everything she learned. It’s clear Blake has a gift for training and truly cares for the dogs he works with. We brought home a happy, confident, and well-mannered pup, and we couldn’t be more grateful. Sinking Creek is the best dog trainer I’ve ever been around. He has trained 3 of my dogs and they leave the place loving him more than me. Blake is a stand up guy and highly recommend him to anyone needing a dog trained.

Sinking creek kennels is great! Blake really has a special gift with the dogs, the way he connects with each dog because they all have different personalities. I highly recommend him for obedience training, hunting dogs or getting your dog ready for a hunt test.

Well, I must say that Blake with Sinking Creek Kennels has been outstanding. He has forged an environment that promotes visiting your pup, and will always be there to answer any inquires one may have. Whether that be a 16 week old pup, or a dog in its “prime”, Blake is extremely knowledgeable and will be able to cater to your needs. I’ve been around other spectacular trainers in the past, only they were far from home making it a challenge to see the dog regularly. If you are in Northern Alabama and are interested in getting your dog primed for season, or just the basic fundamentals, Blake is your guy.

Blake did a great job with my dog. He was very good about frequently communicating and sending videos of progress being made. He’s a great dog trainer that will take care of your dog and would not hesitate to take another dog to him when the time comes!!
