I can’t say enough good things about Paul and Karen. They were recommended to me by a friend who has used them for years. My only regret is that we didn’t start sooner! The reason I sought out help was because my 1 year old Great Dane had become aggressive towards other dogs and attacked my chihuahuas. She would bark like a lunatic and pull me. I was afraid to have her out in public since she is so big (she weighs 20 lbs less than me!), and I was also mortified when she acted that way! We went to Three Dog Bakery every weekend and she got worse and worse! Having brought home another great dane puppy right before she had attacked my chihuahuas, I was concerned that the two giant dogs would get into a fight and someone would get seriously injured. After 1 hour of training my husband and I, my house already had so much more calmness between my 2 dogs. I can’t wait until we complete our sessions! I am so thankful for the knowledge they provided us with. Thank you Paul and Karen!

A little bit of a late review but I had 3 sessions with Paul for my german shepherd, Nash, about a year and a half ago, and I cannot recommend them enough! I’ve learned so much as Paul is very knowledgeable and Nash had made such improvements. I am very thankful for the bond that continues to grow between me and Nash. THANK YOU!

I can’t say enough good things about Paul and Karen and the care they have put into teaching us how to train our dog. We love our dog so much more now that we have the ability to effectively communicate what he is and is not allowed to do. They are very responsive and quick to listen to our concerns and help us work through problems as they come. They are unique in my opinion because they actually work themselves out of job, by teaching us how to do the training ourselves.

UPDATE 10/27/25: I continue to highly recommend Karen and Paul! I spent the last year battling stage 3 breast cancer and having obedient, well- mannered pups made the hard days of chemotherapy alot easier. Some people asked if I was going to board the pups when I had surgery and my answer was no way….there’s no reason to. My pups are obedient and follow commands so I didn’t have to worry about them jumping on me or hurting me during recovery. I’m so grateful for the training at Simplistic because I was able to enjoy my pups while fighting cancer! Now that I’m cancer free I can truly say “Dogs are the best medicine!” 💗💗💗 I highly recommend Karen and Paul.
