Shenandoah Veterinary Hospital

I have been very pleased with the thorough and expert care that my five pets have received at Shenandoah Veterinary Hospital since 1999. Thank you sincerely to all of the wonderful doctors and staff that have cared for us through the years.

This was our first visit with our senior Anatolian Shepherd, Pru. Everyone was wonderful. All of my concerns were addressed in that visit. She does need some follow up testing and I was able to schedule it easily. We have boarded her one time at the Paw & Spa and we were impressed with her care so we decided to have all of her needs met with one facility.

They've always been very kind when working with my dog. They don't insist on tests if they don't seem necessary, and work with me to figure out issues she's having. Their groomer is amazing as well.

The Vet and the techs who took care of Ribbit were lovely! They took interest and asked great questions during their thorough exam. I loved that we were asked at each step if they could do something or recommend treatment. It was collaborative and put us at ease. Ribbit is doing so much better. She is the bouncy Boston that she should be. She is walking on all fours, she isn’t lethargic and she is acting like herself now. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for seeing her so quickly and diagnosing her. Best experience I’ve ever had with a Vet and team.

The Dr suggested a “flavored” gabapentin for my Ragdoll cat who doesn’t allow grooming. I never knew such a miracle existed! I picked it up from the pharmacy and my cat actually allowed me to give to her! If you have a pet that fights you when meds must be given, ask about this. So grateful for the Vet’s suggestion!
