Scenthound Denville

I was there first time with my miniature Yorkie 4 lbs. I asked the staff to give a hygiene clean up bath , I signed up for membership. I was so excited, day before two girls at the front desk were very helpful, and explained the membership clearly ,they were very professional. Unfortunately the next day when I showed up with my puppy for haircut and bath, I asked them to just clean up the face one little matted hair on top of his head, it just needed to be brushed out. I have miniature Yorkie special breed with a silver crown little silver hair on the top. When I picked my dog up, I was so disappointed. I am attaching the picture. They cut the top of the head completely so close in one spot, that it was red irritated skin. When I asked the manager what happened ,the answer was "well the

After a grooming appointment at this place, my dog was left with a scar near his eye, and his tail was cut much shorter even though I didn't request his tail to be cut. This experience was very upsetting, and my dog was clearly stressed afterward. He was so exhausted he needed to see a vet after the grooming. I regret bringing him here and would not recommend this groomer.

I came in with one of my dogs, who is always challenging. Matted, very anxious, and a larger dog. I was beyond pleased when I picked him up. He was beautifully and meticulously groomed. I am excited to return to Scenthound Denville again, after leaving for a few years. I've been here before with our previous dog when it first opened several years ago. It changed ownership, and there were some hiccups due to groomer turnovers, which led me to go elsewhere. However, I figured I'd give it another shot (twice recently) because it's so convenient, their systems are easy to use, and they're transparent with their pricing structure. No regrets. This is how my Husky was left after coming here. Service was always inconsistent but never this bad. Was told her fur would grow in 3 months. 1 year later her coats aren’t fully grown yet. She’s 9 years old. They did offer a sweater for her to keep her warm to fix what the stylist did.

Scenthound Denville is the ABSOLUTE BEST!!!! I brought my Golden Retriever for a trim and he came back looking so healthy and happy!!! You can tell they REALLY love all of their clients here and they explain everything so thoroughly! I can wait to bring my boy back there!
