Barks Bed & Biscuit

I am very particular where I send my older Shar Pei being 1 is blind. I absolutely have the upmost trust in Meg and her staff. They answer ALL of my emails, you can look in on them via cctv. Highly recommend them.

Have taken our 1.5 year old, 25lb dog here a few times now, most recently for a long weekend away, including a bath and full grooming. We checked in on the live cams a few times and saw him in the playroom a few hours a day and any messes we saw were cleaned a few minutes later. Despite a long weekend stay, he smelled and looked great when we picked him up - glad we added the grooming! They did a great job with his haircut - he’s a wavy haired doodle, and was looking pretty shaggy before! Our dog does not like being away from us, but we felt good leaving him in the care of Barks - the owner and staff are so quick to reply to emails, too! Comparable rates for boarding, daycare, and grooming to other local places we’ve used.

Dear Furry Friends, Barks Bed & Biscuit has been our top choice from the very get go when any day-care is required for me. I am a Furry Boy Husky who always likes play with other friends & have a tendency of frequent outdoor visit. BB&B always takes good care of me & I feel comfortable at this place. We used Barks as a super last minute boarding service. My main goal was to find a place that had someone on site with the dogs. This place does exactly that. When I explained that our dog suffers from separation anxiety, they assured me that if she had a rough night, they would personally go in and check on her. I was also able to see her on the cameras and watch her play with other dogs. They answered my emails while away and help put my mind at ease. Upon pickup, they called me to warn me she couldn’t receive a bath because their pipes were frozen (ours were too) yet they still tried to clean her. She was safe and well taken care of which honestly was such a relief for us. Thank you guys for everything! Penny is a happy babe!

We had a great experience at Barks, Bed and Biscuit. Our doodle Milo went for daycare and had fun there for an afternoon to just get acclimated to the facilty. He then was there a few days later for 3 nights while we were away for the wknd. Meg and the team were very friendly, professional, and answered all my questions. We were happy to see Milo on camera when we wished on the doggie cams. He was given an exit bath before we picked him up which is an option if you want to add at the end of their stay. He was happy and healthy when we got home. I think the prices are very fair, the facility is well kept and the people who work there keep the dogs happy and well taken care of. Would definitely recommend and we will definitely be back for future daycare visits and boarding!
