I adopted 2 kittens recently, and thought of bringing them to VCA. It was a HORRIBLE experience. We decided we needed to change vets, and that is when I found this place. The receptionist is excellent at her job. She is extremely informative and also effective. She is straight to the point, and gets you where you need to go. I've also noticed, that with previous and new patients, she was very caring of whatever situation was presented to her. After having met with the doctor, I was left with a great feeling. He was able to answer every question, concern, and was very kind to my kittens. He knew exactly how to handle them when giving them a vaccine which gave my kittens a sense of security. All Creatures Great and Small Animal Hospital and Urgent Care is an absolutely amazing place! My kitten Stitch was treated here for FIP when he was critically ill. We were heartbroken and prepared for the worst — there was almost no chance of survival. But Dr. Byron and his wonderful team performed a true miracle — they saved his life! Today Stitch is alive, happy, and doing so well thanks to their care and dedication. His brother Leo is also a patient here, and both of them always receive the most loving and professional attention. Dr. Byron is truly one of a kind — kind, compassionate, and always there for us. DR. Silas Ashmore on Diamond Spring Rd Denville. (All Creatures Great and Small) helped my family say farewell to our special girl Luna on 10/3. Luna was our mimi Labradoodle. She was perfect in every way. She had been accommodating us for 9 years. I like that, Dr. Ashmore listens to you, but let's you make the decision. Dr. Ashmore*s staff is hard working and always helpful where possible. Trish and Melissa are the women at the front desk. Tell them Kathie sent you. All the staff is helpful, and they genuinely care (it's who they are).

An amazing place to bring your pets! The staff is very friendly, Dr. Silas Ashmore genuinely loves animals and treating them. He took great care of my last dog who had a serious kidney condition and literally did everything he could to keep him going. When the time came to say goodbye, Dr Ashmore made my dog as comfortable as possible and was by my side consoling me, as well as his staff did. Trish is also an amazing part of the staff, she is the heart of the front lines and was always there when I needed to bring my dog in for his issues. I can't say enough great things about All Creatures in Denville! Too bad there's only 5 stars to give.

I’ve been going to Dr. Ashmore for about two years now after trying to find a doctor with great bedside manner and real compassion. I’m so glad I finally found him and an amazing team I trust to take great care of my pup. Trish and Melissa are awesome — they always go above and beyond and take the time to answer any questions or concerns I have. We couldn’t be happier with the care we receive!
