I am so impressed by Scally Wags grooming! My two year old mini schnauzer Lilo has always been reactive and hesitant toward grooming. Especially her feet! No one has EVER been able to cut all of her nails. However, today Lilo got a full groom, and ALL of her nails cut! We got a great detailed report from Jessica (the groomer) and they give you a cute folder with how your dog did and other useful info. Def returning!

First groom that I've been disappointed in. I have a Golden Doodle that has had very good cuts previously. This time it was terrible, uneven and choppy. Nails were also cut too short and jagged. Does not look like it was done by a professional at all.

The groomers at Scallywags have always done an amazing job with my Goldendoodle, Leo. They have been grooming him since he was a puppy and he is three years old now. They always call me in advance if they find mats that they can't get out and need to shave him more than I originally wanted. After being a doodle owner for 3 years, I now understand the importance of getting them groomed regularly and keep their hair on the shorter side, especially if they have a tight curl. My dog LOVES the water and mud, so keeping his coat short is very important! Thank you to all the awesome staff at Dvalleags for keeping my boy happy!

I took my puppy to get her first full groom today. Everyone at Scally Wags was extremely nice and so good to my dog. My pup went in nervous and came out like she owned the place. They did such a great job with her haircut. She’s SO soft and smells lovely!

Scallywags should be ranked as the #1 dog salon in the Captial Region. Everyone is so nice. My baby walks out with an adorable bandana when he receives a haircut. For someone to take time, most likely out of their own schedule to make these is an extra step in service. The salon has many custom accessories as well to fit dogs of all sizes.
