We switched to this place after finding it really hard to get appointments at the other vet place. I’m glad we did! Their hours of operation and them being open all 7 days makes it very convenient. We have never had difficulty getting appointments. The staff at Santa Rita take amazing care of our German Shepherd. Dr. Bhatt is very knowledgeable. Our gsd has a sensitive stomach and before putting him through a bunch of tests, Dr. Bhatt recommended a prescription diet which fixed his stomach issue. We have recommended this place to a couple of friends and they are happy too! Highly recommend this place.

The entire staff have been friendly, responsive and genuinely caring. Dr. Bhatt has taken on trying to figure out the causes of my cat Benjamin's persistent fur pulling and when the case became complicated, he has never given up! In addition, he really takes the time to discuss, explain his approach, go through options, and is systematic and careful. I am really grateful to him and all the staff. (They've also been great with my kitty Tinkerbell when she needed teeth extracted.) Just all around a great clinic. Shout out to the techs and front desk staff too!

Dr. Bhatt saved our beloved dog Coconut. On a recent visit we got a strong recommendation from both Dr. Mak and Dr. Bhatt at Santa Rita Animal Care Clinic for an x-ray and urine test after brining Coconut in. They had suspected she had bladder stones based on the symptoms she was having. It turned out she had three very large struvite bladder stones that had been causing her a lot of discomfort but required x-ray to be diagnosed. We had taken Coconut to multiple vets regarding these symptoms and we had been told she had pyometra. This was not the case and our dog would not have survived without the correct diagnosis and surgery. Dr. Bhatt performed a bladder cystotomy that went flawlessly for our dog. My dog has been a patient of an expensive and prestigious hospital for many years. But at the moment when she was seriously ill and needed help, we were refused - "all the doctors were busy at the conference" I was looking for an alternative in horror and panic because my dog suffered a lot… Thank God - at Santa Rita Animal Care helped us almost immediately: my animal was examined in one day, and the surgery was done by the next morning . They really saved my dog life and in a timely manner by performing a complicated surgery I am wholeheartedly grateful to the doctors of this clinic, who are not only solid professionals but also responsive and kind people. This review is long overdue, but I brought my dog in for care and we could not be happier with the experience. From the moment we walked in, the staff was friendly and welcoming, they really put both me and my dog at ease. Both doctors Dr.Bhatt and Dr.Mak took the time to answer my questions and explain things clearly so I left knowing exactly what to do to help my dog at home. The hospital was very clean and well kept, which gave me even more confidence in the care provided. It's rare to find the place that balances great service, reasonable pricing without sacrificing quality and such genuine compassion for pets! My dog was treated with kindness the whole time and I felt completely comfortable trusting them with her care.
