I had a truly great experience at Paws of Pleasanton and am so glad I brought my cats, Sammy and Luna, here. From the start, the entire staff was kind, patient, and professional—especially Tasha, who was incredibly sweet and thorough. She took the time to explain things, answered my questions, and made what could have been a stressful visit feel much more manageable and reassuring. Dr. Ann Scearce was also fantastic. The main reason for my visit was an indoor flea issue, which had been an absolute nightmare, but they handled it calmly and efficiently. They prescribed Credelio, which worked wonders and resolved the issue quickly—huge relief. What really stood out to me was the level of care and follow-up. The team at Paws of Pleasanton is incredible. My dog gets a bit nervous at the vets office but each nurse and doctor always make sure to make him feel at ease. They're the most patient and allow him to approach before doing any exam. They were able to squeeze me in last minute two times this week when we really needed it. This place is busy because they're amazing but not too busy to not make the time when a pet is in need. They go above and beyond every time. Dr. Scearce is a great vet. She listens, thoroughly explains options in terms that are easy to understand, and values client input when developing a plan for each individual pet. I trust her and appreciate her time and effort. My issue is with the administration. I requested vet records to submit to my insurance company. After four days, I asked again and was told they were waiting for doctor approval. After seven days, I was again told they were waiting for doctor approval. When I attempted to ask questions about the normal process and expected turnaround time for receiving records, I was told I could often get them the same day of service. I have now been told my request will be escalated and treated as a priority today. (Note: These aren't complicated records. My dog had two appointmen

We love Dr Hardy. She always gives great advice and sits on the floor with my dog. She is great with unfriendly dogs as well. I love the staff and they are usually able to get me in within a couple of weeks. The price is a little high but it is absolutely worth it for the quality. They're the best ! They also offer great chiropractic services !

After moving to Los Altos CA and not being able to find a vet near me that would take on a new client or see my dog within 2-3 weeks, I finally found Paws of Pleasanton. Despite it being a 1 hour drive to the vet, I had no other choice. My dog had a serious issue with his eye and needed to be seen same day, and fortunately they accommodated us. Before taking off on our drive, I checked the time and it was a 1 hour commute. Unfortunately on our drive we encountered heavy traffic and an accident which added 20 min on to our trip. I called the office to let them know that we were on our way and would unfortunately be late. They said that they have a strict 10 min policy and we were going to arrive 4min after that.
