My husband and I had the most amazing visit at Animal Medical Center of Pleasanton! We have a large (140 lb.) dog (rescue) with aggression issues that needed a rabies vaccine. The staff was beyond wonderful! We were referred with great care by Emily, greeted at the front desk by the most lovely woman and Josh, loved him, so skilled and such a heart for dogs, tended our dog. Of all the vets we've been to for her this was far and above the most wonderful experience, and so reasonable in comparison! Our Willa received such tender loving care (therefore, so did we) and we were so grateful! This is our new vet! I should also mention the center is beautiful and there's lots of parking. Thank you for the best experience in 8 years!

The entire team at Animal Medical Center are super friendly. Facility is clean. I got Porkchop in and out very quickly. He had severe itching and the team came up with a good plan for his care and I’m happy to know he will be comfortable in no time!

It is the cleanest veterinary office we have ever visited, the phones are answered promptly, and every single person you speak with is professional, compassionate, and genuinely caring. Most importantly, they saved Luke. Luke is our 12-year-old hound rescue who has been with us for seven years. He is curious, stubborn, gets into everything, and is my best friend. A few weeks ago, we faced a serious health scare and truly believed we might lose him. The care, urgency, and expertise of this team made all the difference. This is the most unethical vet practice I've ever encountered. They lie about neuter pricing to continue attempting to book additional appointments for more "required testing". They claim it's $199. They require an initial exam which is 100% understood. Next, I was quoted $79 for the feline leukemia test which was required to do the neuter. I left that day with a physical paper copy quoting the neuter plus the leukemia test. I brought him back in today for the leukemia test and they tried quoting me over $400 for more "required testing". All this place cares about is your money and getting as much as they can out of you, not your pets. The man was extremely rude and dismissive so I took my cat and left. I'd rather pay $2000 to go somewhere else that actually cares about my pet and is upfro

Great experience! The staff is friendly and caring, and the doctor is knowledgeable and takes time to explain everything clearly. The prices are also very reasonable. Highly recommend!
