Edit: I am editing this due to the interaction my friend had this morning. Background (also posted below): I brought a friend to come see a dog with her daughter and the dog seemed to bond well with her family and they were excited to potentially bring him into their family. They made an appointment to bring their other dogs to meet him to see if they would get along and they were told when they got to the door that someone else was bringing their dog later in the day and so they couldn't meet Baloo and see if the dogs would all get along. I get making sure dogs are in the right placement and such but don't string people along who have gained an emotional attachment to the dog in the process. I don't appreciate the hostility you are demonstrating. I was only there for a short time to help

Don't expect anything from anybody that works for the government. They had my cat from 7PM on a Saturday to 2PM on Monday and never thought to reach out. I had to find my cat through the nextdoor app. Found out through Trevor they were supposed to call me when they picked my cat up… they never did. Then I guess they didn't want to call me Monday morning when they arrived to work at 8 AM. I had to call them at 1 PM to find out they had him. The least professional group of people I've ever dealt with outside of fast food workers. Laurie if you are reading this, I want to let you know you could do better at your job. And the guy who picked my cat up and didn't reach out, i hope you get fired. I cant believe my taxes pay for a roof over your head. Again, I guess its my fault for thinking loca

Me and my friend walked in and we're pleasantly greeted with a bird coming to say hello. (be sure to wear pants and closed-toed shoes or he'll get your toes!) we then had a nice chat with the lady at the front desk, and were let in to look and hold their cats. we're young, so we weren't looking to adopt (we were more irrationally worried about being let in lol) but were treated amazingly. there were only 2 cats, but they both looked well taken care of, and this one was very excited to get some attention. if anyone is seeing this around the time it's posted, go check this cute cat out! we can't believe he's not taken!

I live in midvale I called PD they transfer me to dispatch and I explained my situation which was a dog had been left in a truck in front of my house for OVER 2 HOURS and wouldn't stop barking. I work Graves and had just gotten home from work and wad trying to sleep for my shift tonight. Dog is barking non stop for over 2 hrs in this truck my dog inside my house is going nuts. I call the authorities give them the info. This animal cop comes out parks a car in front of truck w dog and types on his laptop in his truck then leaves. That's it. No notice on the dog truck no waiting no contact me nothing.

A deer attempted to jump over the fence , but it became trapped in the gap between the fence and pole. Sandy City Animal Control came less than an hour and the officer treated the animal humanely and respectfully. Unfortunately the deer is gone, they cover the body with a blanket, so the people won't see the deer's body and blood. Thank you for their professionalism and consideration for the family and children in the neighborhood.
