What dog likes going to the vet...my dog! And it's all because of Dr. Z and her staff. They are kind, gentle, thorough, and know my dog better than anyone. I've also boarded with them and they provide great care, even sending pictures of my dog having fun with the staff because they knew I was nervous about leaving her. Fantastic.

Started off seeing Dr. Zimmerman for behavioral issues, and now she’s my regular vet. She’s been tremendously helpful in understanding and treating my dog’s reactivity, anxiety, and aggression - lots of improvement with a good combination of meds + force free dog training. Seeing Dr. Z and staff for regular medical stuff (an ear infection, allergies, and paw licking) has also been a great experience. Her attention to not re-traumatizing my dog by offering anxiety medication, a likipad, blankets, extra time, ect, made treating the ear infection a breeze. She also looked at connecting physical symptoms to behavioral problems. The prices are fair, the staff is friendly, and Dr. Z is super down to earth. THANK YOU !

We've been taken our highly reactive dog here for care the last year. Dr. Zimmerman and Sandy have been great at helping her feel safe and to try to make vet visits less scary. They are very sweet with our dog. The entire staff is lovely and we are grateful for their kindness and gentle care.

Dr. Zimmerman and the team at Ruxton have all been so kind and helpful when it comes to caring for my cat, who is a difficult patient. Other vets have always grown frustrated or critical of with my cat's anxiety at the vet, but the Staff at Ruxton are so capable and professional with their maneuvering of an anxious cat that every visit has been easy! They are also very transparent with the pricing and walk you through everything before anything is administered to ensure that you’re OK with the costs.
