Ruffner's Luxury Pet Boarding

We’ve used Ruffner’s periodically over the years and recommended them to others. I don’t trust Zeke to just anybody! Zeke always comes home happy. I really appreciate that they know how he is doing when we call without checking. They seem to be “dog people” and that’s a good thing.

The staff at Ruffner’s is friendly and warm and pet loving. The facility is excellent. Plenty of room to run around. Maggie loves coming here and I think she is sad when we leave. I like that when we get home she’s ready for a nap. Keep doing what you’re doing.

We boarded our pup here years ago, but that's not why we visited recently. We adopted our current pup from Rover Rescue, and Ruffner's was the foster family. With masks, we were able to visit and play with our potential adoptee. Jen answered our multiple questions while we were visiting as well as answered several emails post adoption regarding training. Jen went above and beyond to help us feel comfortable with our decision, even after the adoption. Overall, a wonderful experience.

We used Ruffner’s for boarding and were disappointed with the experience. We weren’t told what time to drop our dog off, and when we did we were told we were late and she wouldn’t get dinner. We fed her in the lobby so she could eat (our choice, not their suggestion), but it wasn’t a good way to start things off. We immediately were concerned to leave our dog with people who would not feed her dinner since she was dropped off an hour later than when they forgot to communicate. Additionally, the dogs are not let out to go potty after 6pm when being boarded, so they are left for 12+ hours overnight. We waited to leave a review until we found out if this is normal, but other places in the area let dogs out again at 10pm. We won’t be back, it was a bad experience to be missing a lot of infor

Franklin loves Ruffners for daycare so much! The staff are so friendly and welcoming. He’s had a blast every time he’s gone!
