Do Better Training

Dr. Andy is an incredible trainer. Hands down the best we’ve worked with! I have two sensitive shy pups and she was able to really teach me how they think and the best way to work with them. Throughout our training both dogs gained so much confidence! Dr. Andy is patient and really, really, really cares about animals. I am thrilled we found her and I would recommend her to anyone!

We recently boarded our dog, Jack, an American Foxhound, at Do Better Training and Boarding while we went on a 5 day vacation. Do Better took terrific care of our boy, including play times with other dogs. Every evening we received a “report card” including pictures of Jack enjoying the day’s activities. He was very happy and well cared for while we were gone which contributed to our enjoying our vacation that much more. I highly recommend Do Better Training for boarding your dog.

We have worked with over a dozen different trainers, and Dr. Andy is truly in a league of her own. She is incredibly knowledgeable and all of her training methodologies are rooted in evidence-based best practices. She is also very personable. She understands that everyone’s lives and their goals with their dogs are different, and she modifies training plans to fit your needs. She is kind, personable, and brilliant. The best part? My dog absolutely loves her and has SO much fun any time he gets to train with her.

Andy has introduced so many valuable tools and resources to help train ourselves so we can better train our pups who use to get along but now really struggle to be around eachother. She is great at understanding each pup and meeting them where they are at. For example we have a very skittish pup and she's provided great ways to help boost her confidence & be less afraid. We are already seeing great results after on 4 or 5 sessions. Cannot recommend Andy enough!!

Best trainer I've ever had. CHASE was uncontrollable when I got him from the shelter, after a year of struggling. They recommended Andy. I have learn so much, and Chase have improved 75%. In the short amount of time that she had worked with us. I know we will reach our goal one day. Couldn't do it without her help. Highly recommend.
