We highly recommend River West to care for your pets. We appreciate the convenience of the walk in appointment set up. Everyone has been so kind, caring and take a genuine interest in our dogs. The vets are top notch, take time to get to know your pup, and do a wonderful job of sharing information and answering any questions. They also have reasonable rates when compared to others all in a beautiful, clean facility! Thank you for exceptional care!

I was looking for a new place closer to my house. I really love Riverwest Hospital especially for the fact No appointments are needed you just walk in. You can have just aboutanything done that you need that day. The staff are all very friendly. Prices are great! We saw Giana and my dog Zoey loved her! And the best part is they are open seven days a week Sunday through Friday!!

Dr. Long’s honesty, compassion, and expertise are what make him a truly exceptional veterinarian. Five years ago, when he was practicing in Yorkville, he performed emergency surgery on my dog, saving his life. His exceptional care and skill earned him the position of our dog’s primary vet, despite the hour-long drive. Even after he opened his new practice in St. Charles, we continued to visit him, finding the drive still worthwhile. No words can express how grateful I am to Dr. Long. I highly highly recommend him.

Dr Long is absolutely amazing. On Wednesday we pretty much got told our dog wouldn’t make it to the weekend from a vet nearby, and that we needed to euthanize by the weekend. I decided to take her to see Dr Long for a second opinion, and he insisted that we do a surgery he felt could give her that second chance. He performed surgery the same day, and now she is at home with us and our kids recovering. I could not give Dr Long and his staff enough appreciation, they go above and beyond. highly recommend!

Very nice place, Dr. Long really spend time with my dog to check if everything is good and if the needed annything and answers all my questions. You can tell he loves and cares for animals. The front desk people are warm and professional. It’s my second year coming here and definitely planing to stay with them. Highly recommend this place. 😊
