We highly recommend Rocky Top K9! We did the 2 week board and train with our German shepherd and were very pleased with how much she learned. They also took the time to teach us since most of the time us humans are the cause of bad behaviors in our dogs. We will definitely use them again in the future when we get another dog!

We've had the pleasure of working with Rocky Top K9 with three of our dogs, in several types of environments, with two of their trainers, and have nothing but praise for their professionalism, knowledge, technique and care for dogs. We've referred several friends who also have had a great experience learning to work alongside their large breed, working dogs. It took awhile before we found the right training program for our family—it was our desire to find a trainer who understood Shepherd and Malinois personalities. We are very appreciative of being introduced to the e-collars as a tool alongside training, which has helped our confidence with a high-prey-drive dog in our pack. Rocky Top K9 is nothing short of AMAZING!! We chose to do the basic and advanced training classes with Scottie and we're so impressed with the one on one attention and training we received. Scottie helped us with our training and taught us how to train our 100 lb Giant Schnauzer so that we can take her anywhere with us. He not only taught us how to train her but also us the WHY behind her behavior so that we had the understanding of why she was behaving the way she was and what we needed to do to correct it even if that meant changing our behavior. When we got our 2 month old “land shark” GSD I didn’t quite know what I was in for. It was apparent right away that we all needed training. After an extensive search and trying other places, Sandra and her team at Rocky Top K9 were the only ones I came to trust to train my girl. In 2 short weeks she became a totally different dog. Our Siberian Husky, Maya, completed a one-week board and train program with Sandra at Rocky Top K9 LLC, and the results have far exceeded our expectations. We came into the program with some anxiety due to our past experiences—our previous dog was an escape artist and runner. Our main goal was for Maya to learn to stay close and reliably come when called. Not only did Sandra deliver on that, but she gave us so much more. Maya is incredibly well-behaved in public. We have taken her to Rock City at Lookout Mountain in Georgia, and stores that allow dogs, like Home Depot and Lowe's.
