Critter Cottage

Dogs love the Critter Cottage. I can barely drag mine out to the car when it is time to go home. Full disclosure, I have been friends with the business owners for more than 20 years. I know when I leave my dog for 2 or 3 weeks, she will be fine. Plus, I have met and observed a good many client dogs during that time. Some of the dogs start out a little nervous but it doesnt take long for them to settle in and have a good time. I have seen one particular chihuahua transform from hiding behind the sofa on his first visit to charging in like gangbusters whenever he arrives for a stay, and runs around to see all the other dogs he gets to hang out with.

We just left our three dogs with Critter Cottage for the last week and could not ask for a better experience. The owners were amazing and a pleasure to meet and talk to. They more than handled the needs of our dogs during our vacation. They care for your dogs just as you would at home; no kennels or concrete prisons. And a great yard for them to run and play in. It is definitely not the typical boarding experience. We would not hesitate to use Critter Cottage again in the future.

We brought our dogs with us from Chicago for our trip to The Smokies! They stayed at The Critter Cottage. It was nice to know they were well taken care of :) I like that they were open to calling to check up on them! We would definitely use them again if in the area again!

My best friend Sparkles just loved it there! She use to go there at least once a week, until one evening life through me a curve ball. I am back on my feet and back home. Therefore, I am in hopes my Sparkles will be visiting her favorite hangout once More! These two woman are wonderful caregivers for your furry k9 Friends! CHEF JD

Amazing people!! Took great care of our sweet pup while we were out of town!! Will definitely use them again!
