Rocky Gorge Animal Hospital, Resort & Spa

I have been using Rocky Gorge for over 2 decades, through 3 different furry Sheltie children. The care from the vets and associates is wonderful. They explain their treatment in detail, make sure you understand your options and tell you the cost up front. In the past 23 years, we have had 3 different emergencies and their 24 hour ER service has been a life saver- literally. We just started taking my Dads terrier there as well. I have lived in Baltimore, Columbia and Rockville and would never use any other Vet.

Great experience. I took my pup (Monte) here because he was diagnosed with kidney failure and needed IV fluids asap. I called, the front desk staff member gathered my information, called my vet for Monte’s records and advised that I come in right away since it wasn’t busy. Praise God when I arrived we were quickly seen and Monte taken back for treatment. They explained all costs associated with his treatment. The first estimate was higher than I was comfortable with so they removed a few unnecessary items for the time being and we were good to go. Monte stayed overnight for 24hrs, during that time the doctor and staff provided updates and answered questions when I called. Long story short I took Monte home the next day and he looked much better than when he first arrived. I thank God that

Had to make an emergency visit for my mastiff puppy and was very impressed with the facility. The friendly staff, large rooms, and comfortable chairs made the wait much easier. The Dr that I spoke with was excellent at making sure I felt comfortable with the reasons for her diagnosis (kennel cough/pneumonia) as well as understanding the treatment. For such a stressful event, I couldn't have asked for more. Would 100% use this facility as our primary if it were located closer to our home.

We feared our puppy Barney had broken his leg but it was just a really bad sprain. Great staff. We couldn't have asked for better service and care. They are were kind, professional and expedient. Took dog in for annual check up, shots, etc. The Tech, Julianna, was wonderful. She had a very calm demeanor, that put our dog more at ease. Vet, Dr Wolchinsky, was excellent as always. I've been bringing my pets to Rocky Gorge for over 29 years. They've always been professional, knowledgeable, competent & very compassionate. I wouldn't go anywhere else.
