My dog has an ear infection and I brought her to Dr. McHenry. She was very helpful in her treatment and the staff were very helpful and friendly. I appreciate them all.

We have about a forty-minute drive to Dr. McHenry, so my only regret is that we can't always do all our veterinary care with her. She's wonderful. She's helped several times on very short notice with strays that we have found - some we have kept, some we have found new homes for, and today, one that was in rough shape and just needed help with a peaceful end. In an emergency a few years ago, she put a life-saving feeding tube in for our cat, and she was honest about the procedure being a new one to her, but she did the learning and consulting she needed to do to save him. One of the things I especially appreciate is that she acknowledges the economics of a situation and tries to find the most affordable way to approach a problem. Took our older dachshund in for a teeth cleaning and they did a great job. No pain after cleaning and snapped out of antistetic quickly. Not to mention how much better his breath smells.

The receptionist is one of the most disrespectful condescending people I've ever met. Telling us that she knows more than we do because she is a diabetic and goes to the doctor every three months. She did not provide information that she said she did, and was extremely rude. Not only did she lie, but she also raised her voice and called my daughter a liar. My daughter only wanted to help her sick cat but left in tears from the disrespect. We've come here for years and the vet herself as well as the vet techs have always been very respectful and professional. They take good care of the animals, but the receptionist has horrible people skills.

All of the staff are wonderful, and they're great about getting your pets in in a timely fashion. The office is very clean. I just wish they had a separate little room for smaller animals to wait. I was in there with my cat, and she was terrified of the 4 or 5 bigger dogs in the waiting room with us. Maybe next time I will wait in the car with her. Overall, very impressed with this place.
