Green Meadow Veterinary Hospital

On Tuesday January 13th at 2:30pm we had to take my Blue boy to lay him to rest. Worst most heartbreaking moment in my life. But the staff was amazing and walked us through the whole process and what to expect! They were so kind and sweet with my boy! One even gave him little bottom taps to say goodbye! Thank you for all you do!

I honestly couldn’t have asked to work with better people, they actually care, they are very professional and patient, and some of the kindest people I’ve ever met. I wouldn’t doubt Green Meadows not even once, they will always take care of you. Thank you Dr. Kidd, and thank you everyone else at Green Meadows for helping me with Poppi.

We live in Athens but come to Green Meadow Vet for acupuncture services. Dr Kidd and her staff couldn’t be any nicer! I’ve worked in pet care for over 20 years and have been to quite a few vets in that time. I’m picky about vet care for my own pets and I would highly recommend Green Meadow to anyone looking for kind and compassionate vet care. My sweet Peggy never seems stressed out after her appts and the whole staff talks very lovingly about her.

We've had a cat established there for about a year now. Called today to finally switch vets to somewhere else. To begin, every time we go it's a 2 hour wait MINIMUM. I've neverrrr got out without waiting that long. For me, I don't care. But my cat gets very upset. Then today, my husband was there TWO HOURS and the VET DIDNT EVEN SHOW UP. The prices they charge are more than I've ever encountered. And I've been to a lot of vets around here, they were just closer so we tried them when we got a new kitten. But the vet not showing up today, them not canceling or even being able to get ahold of her, the horrible wait and price, we finally decided we'd rather drive to somewhere we know is amazing. The staff are great, the Vet condescending, simply put, AWFUL! Exam on pet is done out of the room, my pet was seen 3x, saw the Vet 1 time. You usually are dealt with by a Tech. My pet had an infection, wasn’t addressed at visit because we never saw the Vet. Was told to make another appointment. Make you use their pharmacy or the charge a fee to send to an outside pharmacy. My pet was given vaccines we didn’t want, then was asked to pay. STAY AWAY!!
