Raskel's Rescue

About a month and a half ago I came to adopt Skittles (who I renamed to Harvard)! When I came, the staff were incredibly sweet and helpful. When I told them that I have a cat at home, they allowed me to take Harvard into the house where they keep the cats to test her temperament with them. She was just as gentle as they promised, and I took her home the same day. She’s really the smartest and sweetest little puppy, the best companion for me and my cat. I’m so glad I came to Raskel’s to meet her!

I adopted my sweet boy on November 2nd and couldn’t be happier. He’s settled into our family perfectly. We suspect he’s a little older than he was advertised as but that’s not a problem for us.

My father adopted a puppy by the name of Rosie ! She is soooo sweet . I want to say that the gals at this place are absolutely amazing ! Very sweet and understanding they explained everything well and everything went smooth and without a problem we loved our experience! And we love Rosie ! Thank you ! Yall get in there and give these pups a chance 🩷🩷🩷🩷

IT IS A SCAM. A lady was there today to see a dog (that was listed just yesterday). There were 4 of us to see the same dog. The Raskel's lady came out, didn't care she was there first, told another family the dog didn't like kids (not what the fb page said) and told US we could look at the other dogs-not the dog we were all there for. They wouldn't even consider us for the dog at all. When we were leaving the lady who was there 1st said she didn't even get to meet the dog, even though 3 years earlier Raskel's let her and her husband look at 3 totally different dog breeds and said they could adopt any of them. She's retired and she and her husband have been adopting rescue dogs since 2001-have 2 privacy fenced in acres, etc that any dog would love. She even showed me pictures of her home. T

My roommates and I visited Raskel’s Rescue a couple months ago and ended up adopting a darling dog. Her original name was Mabel, but we renamed her to Eda (short for Edalyn)! The staff was extremely kind and patient with us, even letting us foster her for a few days while we decided if she was the perfect fit. They provided us a kennel, food, treats, toys, and puppy pads that got us through the first couple days. This shelter really cares for their animals!
