My husband and I came into the shelter interested in adopting a dog. Before we entered, we both said, “We’re only looking — we’re not coming home with a dog.” Well, that didn’t last long! We went out to the yard, and the staff introduced us to a few dogs based on what we had written on our application. Then the lady helping us said, “Can I bring out one more dog that I think will fit you two perfectly?” Of course, we said yes. She brought out Sammie — and we fell in love instantly. The staff was beyond helpful, kind, and patient throughout the whole process. We feel so lucky to have met our Sammie and can’t thank the Rancho Cucamonga Animal Center enough for helping us find her. For anyone looking to adopt, this is absolutely the place to go. If I could give 6 stars, I would!

12 2125. The day I took my baby in to surrender him Ruby 21 year-old redhead. They were so kind and sweet. They gave me time with him till I got all my crying out. One of the worst shelter experiences ever I had found two puppies luckily these babies now have a home, but not thanks to them. I tried to get them in because I didn’t know what to do and I had proof that I did find them in the city, but it wasn’t enough proof for them and unfortunately, I had a stressful day due to it, but these puppies are now loved which I’m thankful for, but do not recommend taking them here unless you have proof to the extent or they will not take them them in ( according to them, a picture of these two puppies when we found them at a mall was not proof enough, even though the location did say on the photo) I indeed, after that Made calls to multiple places according to the county where I live in because they also told me because I’m not a resident in Rancho that I ca

My fiancé and I found two small stray dogs and tried to do the responsible thing by taking them to the Rancho Cucamonga Animal Shelter. Instead of being helped, we were made to feel as if bringing the dogs in was an inconvenience and a problem. When we arrived, the front door was locked. Each of us was holding a dog, and we waited outside for someone to open the door. When a woman finally came out, she did not invite us inside and immediately had an unpleasant attitude, making it feel as though we were bothering her. While we stood there holding the dogs; worried they might jump from our arms and run into the street, she went back inside to get paperwork and told us we would need to fill it out and provide our driver’s licenses. i found sum puppies in rancho at a park so i called rancho shelter and i accidentally called the emergency department and this rude guy picked up the first thing he asked me when i called was what i was wearing the day i found them and i was confused cuz i thought it was a joke or something then he says he just has to ask because they are gonna check the cameras at the park where i found them to see if i’m being honest then he says did u still want to still claim you found them there? like telling me im lying, and i said yeah because that’s where i found them so the. he proceeds to say that i would be charged with abandonment if i was lying then we get off the phone and he called me back 10 minutes later when i am in the car on the way then he asked if i had any pictures of them at the par
