Queen Anne’s County Animal Services

Such a wonderful team! We first visited this shelter to drop off donations after losing our dog, and I later returned to look at their adoptable animals. One thing led to another, and we ended up bringing home a new pup. The entire experience was truly special. I really appreciated how thoughtful and patient the staff were—vetting carefully, listening to all my questions, and understanding my hesitations. They did an amazing job helping us find the perfect new boy for our family.

Friendly and helpful, considering adoption of a young kitty! So many cool animals and choices, I know I will find the right one for us there! Plus saw a Sheriff K9 demo as they worked with the kids at a camp! Awesome!

This place is fantastic. The facilities are clean, there is no funky smell when you walk in, and the staff is VERY helpful. I love the slumber party program that they run for the dogs! Currently, we have adopted 2 cats from this shelter, and we're doing a foster-to-adopt with a dog that we're loving! I'd recommend anyone to this shelter I'd they're ready for a fur baby

Just adopted a puppy from Queen Anne’s County Animal Services. The process was painless and the volunteers were very friendly. They were knowledgeable about every animal that was housed at the shelter, and you could tell they genuinely care about every animal in there. They listened to my wants and concerns and were able to recommend dogs that would best fit my household. The shelter was clean and all of the dogs seemed happy.
