Purrfurably Cats

If you need care for your cat or just a regular check up, this is the ideal office for cats. The office is calm, friendly and clean with, of course, a cat theme. You can get your cats medications there. I have taken my 11 year old cat there for a few years now. The prices are reasonable and they talk to you before changing for care. They are located near downtown Monterey so it’s easy to get to. Highly recommended cat vet!

This place is amazing. They got my cat in to be seen same day when she wasn't feeling well. Everyone i encountered were so nice. So gentle with my cat. They are truly cat whisperers. I already made an appt for my other cat to go in and have a wellness check up. Update: took my 2nd cat to them as well and the staff there was equally as amazing.

We chose Purrfurably Cats for our cat, Boo, because they’re a cats-only vet. Dr. Cleary and the staff were amazing with her! They really know how to handle kitties and make them feel comfortable and safe. We will definitely be returning to Dr. Cleary for all of Boo’s future visits. Wonderful veterinarian!

I was able to get into an appointment much sooner than I expected via the website and received a follow up phone call shortly after preparing me for the appointment. Once there, the staff was friendly and welcoming. The doctor is kind, thorough, and fast, and you can truly see the expertise. Both the doctor and nurse quickly picked up on my cat’s personality and suggested ideas for soothing him prior to our next appointment. Although probably not the best day in my cat’s opinion, I am really grateful to the staff and doctor and am confident my cat received the best care. We will be back!!

Dr. Marcus, Alexa and Tanya are amazing! They took me in right away even though they were slammed and I didn’t have an appointment. They took my concerns and my cat’s well-being seriously and my cat loved them when he normally growls at vets. He was nice to them before they even gave him treats! Dr. Marcus and Tanya took a lot of time listening to his symptoms and answering questions and patiently explaining answers to my numerous questions. We think he’s gonna be ok and I just found my new vet since I’m new to town. I would wholeheartedly recommend any pet owner to choose this practice and I absolutely have faith in their expertise, professionalism and compassion! There is a reason their reviews are so high!! 💖🐈
