Puppers & Hairballs

I love Puppers & Hairballs! Every time I walk in, I'm greeted with a smile. They are incredibly helpful with recommendations on treats, pet food, pretty much everything to do with your pets. You can tell they love what they do by the care and attention they provide. I love having a place I can feel not only welcome but trust their knowledge on how to care for my pups. They have grooming services, too and when dropping your pet off, you can be secure knowing your little furbaby will get 5 star treatment.

Before even being able to go inside, while at the farmers market my very heat exhausted prone husband, sister (who is extremely pregnant), and myself were verbally attacked by one of the women working here as we sat in the shade on chairs we HAPPENED upon in the shade stating we were "blocking businesses and creating a fire hazard" when we were approximately 3-4 feet from the entrance of both this establishment and the next. Needless to say we left without purchasing anything and will not be returning. God forbid I try to avoid calling an ambulance for my family by sitting while they were dizzy.

Was so excited to visit this store today as it looked like a fun store with plenty of great options. Only giving stars for the products and variety. The fun was taken out at the end due to my experience with the employee there. From the start, he spoke very condescending to me even cutting me off mid sentence . When checking out, I had one question about a product i was highly interested in and he spoke back to me very rudely, despite the product was even mislabeled. He was unwilling to say anything other that “it’s a bully stick” despite me asking questions for further clarification. Very rude, unprofessional, and gives me no interest to return. Made me feel stupid despite asking a valid question. Wanted to support a small business but honestly we can get better service at petco.

I just love puppies and hairballs! It's the best place to get your dog groomed or your cat groomed🐱 or to buy some healthy nutritious food and snacks for your dog add toys toys toys toys!!

We just love this new, local pet store in Lake Placid. My pups highly recommend the beef cheek rolls. It’s took them 2 days to finish so perfect to keep them busy and raw-hide free. I bought the chicken and peanut butter. They liked both but liked the peanut butter one best.
