Dr. Hinds and the team at Citrus Animal Clinic were wonderful when treating our puppy Oakley after she broke her leg. We were very worried about whether she would ever be the same and also about the financial cost, but Dr. Hinds took the time to explain everything and reassure us that Oakley was in good hands. The compassion and care we received meant so much during a very stressful time. We’re incredibly grateful and highly recommend Dr. Hinds and Citrus Animal Clinic. Absolutely AMAZING staff and Doctors!!! They ALWAYS take the best care of our fur babies!!! Would not go anywhere else in Highlands County!!!

I’m very happy with the Citrus Animal Clinic. I moved to Lake Placid a year ago and started taking my dog there immediately. I’ve had emergency and routine care appointments with great satisfaction. Thank you, to all the staff, but a special thanks to Dr. Hinds for helping Cooper.

They did a bait and switch on pricing getting my cat fixed. The tech told me blood work wasn’t necessary so I said ok. They charged me for it any way. I was expecting one price and it was almost doubled. Then the receptionist asked why I was mad, really? Otherwise, I’ve had a good experience with the Vet and other staff. I suggest the clinic be super specific and list ALL the pricing beforehand so NOTHING gets misconstrued. So disappointed.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I cannot express how grateful I am for the incredible care my seven-month-old puppy received at CitrusAnimal Clinic in Lake Placid, Florida. When she fell ill, I was anxious and worried, but they managed to get her in the same day, despite her being a new patient. The compassion and understanding shown by the staff were truly heartwarming. She was diagnosed with Parvo, and the team took their time explaining all the treatment options available, ensuring I felt comfortable with the plan we decided on. They sent us home with fluids and medication, and I’m happy to report that just two days later, my pup was back to her normal, playful self! I am beyond grateful to Citrus Animal Clinic for saving my puppy’s life. Their dedication and compassion make them an exceptional veterinar
