Pride & Joy Kennels

I left my dog with pride and joy for what was supposed to be a week, he died on his 2nd day there and I've never been given an explanation. My best friend is gone and I don't know why. He was 2.5 years old and healthy. I'm heartbroken and I'll never trust another pet with a boarding facility ever again. I blame myself for not looking into this facility more diligently.

I would rate them in the negative if it were an option.. I had been bringing my babies to them for about 3 months. in June 28, 2024 we dropped them off for a 3 day boarding. upon picking them up they were anxious, not typical. We got home within an hour the oldest 4 years was throwing up and had bloody diarrhea clearly very ill. He refused any water or food, had a fever. Called veterinarian and got appointment next morning debating on taking to ER. In looking him over he had bruises under all his legs, stomach, private area like he had been in a hoist for a long time or possibly tangled up from being left on a run with no supervision for a lengthy time. My 2, 5 year old pups had never been boarded… my shepherd is a nervous wreck. Both my boys walked right in happy as could be, and when I picked them up they were happier than when I left them! 2nd boarding went even smoother! Thank you!!!

Brought our dog here for the first time a couple of weeks ago. She stayed 2 nights, got a bath and her nails clipped. She said she was thrilled with the accommodations and would love go back! Seriously, the staff here is great and their prices are very reasonable. We will definitely use them again.

The only place we leave our Mini Aussie! The people are very friendly and accommodating. They have held her there longer for us when we called to say we needed to extend her visit. We always have her groomed while she is there and they do a great job!
