Prairie Sky Kennel, LLP Pet Boarding

This is the best dog boarding place anywhere. I bring my dog all the way up from Brookings because I know they'll take very good care of my precious pooch.

My labrador loves it here and is always so excited when we pull up! The owner is super caring- once my flight got delayed and I was going to miss the pickup time. the owner assured me that she would take care of my pup and would provide him with enough food even though I hadn’t sent enough meals! My dog always comes back the same healthy happy pup.

Very nice experience. This is now our boarding kennel. We have a bit of a nervous pup, and they were able to put her at ease. So nice to have a place, that we feel safe leaving our fur babies. Reasonable rates too. We now have peace of mind, when taking trips without our pups.

Took my pups here for two nights and kenneled them separately. My one pup came back and she definetly lost some weight, but I'm assuming that was her refusing to eat. Neither got sick, sounded like it all went super well. If boarding for longer than a few nights I may look into something a little different but I'm super happy with how things went.

I wish I could give this place zero stars. We boarded my dog here for two weeks while we were on vacation. We dropped my dog off as a healthy, energetic, dog. When we picked him up he had clearly been neglected. His fur was matted, he was dirty, and he weighed about half has much as he had when we dropped him off. We thought we were gonna lose him due to the shape he was in. (He’s perfectly fine and healthy now). If you love your pets please don’t leave them in this Kennel’s care.
