Mark did an awesome job with our dog Rory! Her obedience has improved a ton and he has given us the tools to help her keep improving. Mark is very easy to work with and I never felt like I needed to worry about Rory while she was gone. I also really appreciate him checking in to see how things are going several times since we have brought her home. I would highly recommend Platte Valley Retrievers to anyone who needs some help with their training.

I highly recommend using Platte Valley Retrievers for your dogs. I have had 3 dogs trained at Platte Valley Retrievers. All 3 dogs have been very well trained for both upland and waterfowl. They have also been great companions, and are very well-behaved in the house and around other people. Mark was very accommodating during the training process and let us visit the dogs whenever we had the chance. I appreciate the work Mark has done and look forward to working with him in the future.

My 8 month old lab, Willow went to Mark and came home a changed dog. She walks so much better on a leash and listens to commands with much less direction than before. She is much calmer and I feel much more confident in providing her the freedom she deserves at home and with other dogs. Mark listened to my concerns before dropping her off but also listened to them when I was not seeing the progress I was hoping for. As a stubborn lab, she bought herself more time with Mark. Two weeks later, she was able to come home. She is capable of things I was afraid we would never master, thanks to Mark.

Mark did great with Nelli! Her obedience is amazing and she’s been great in the field. Mark is very knowledgeable and his facilities are very clean. I really appreciated that he let us bring Nelli home on the weekends, as she is a hunting dog but also a family dog. I would 100% recommend and I will be sending my future dogs to him no doubt!

I got my dog Waylon from Mark and then took him to Mark for obedience training and I couldn’t be happier! We were able to take Waylon home on a few weekends during training which was nice, and Mark kept us updated throughout his training to show us the progress he made. After training, Mark showed us how to continue training Waylon now that he is home and it’s impressive how well Waylon responds to his commands! I will highly recommend Platte Valley Retrievers for anyone that asks me.
