Terrible Customer service in the grooming department the lady was very snarky on the phone and said our dog was scared the entire time saying it was unusual for poodles and that we had to do better getting him used to groomers my dog has never been scared of groomer unless it is at this PetSmart and this location only. Even while picking up my pet from the appointment she tried to be degrading to me as a owner and when I held my ground she got upset she made the comment that “he looks pretty happy now” and I said “probably because he was leaving”. And we informed them that we never be doing business there again.

It was clean and the cashiers were nice, but there was no one to help answer questions in the store because it appeared they were short staffed. And as always, they have a lot of products to choose from, but they are overpriced. Not as bad as pet co., but could work on their prices.

I took two of my three dogs to be groomed at PetSmart. One of them, a 12-year-old boxer, has been there once before and we had a pleasant experience. My 5-year-old Chinese Shar Pei has never been groomed by anyone but me. I decided since I was taking my boxer that I would just take him too because he needed his nails trimmed anyway. I said on the phone while booking the appointment that he does not really like his feet touched. I also stated this when I dropped them off for their appointment. I do not remember saying that if it is not possible to trim his nails because he’s too upset then to not do it, and that’s on me. To begin, my Shar Pei is shy of strangers, but is not mean. We made the trip to Kearney to buy our daughter a hamster from North Platte. We were very disappointed when we arrived and they were sold out. Our fault we should have called in advance. Needless to say we had a very upset 8 year old. She had been looking forward to this as it was her Christmas present from us. Well the manager seen how upset she was and informed us that they had one that had been picked on in the back. They could not sell him but that we could adopt him. My daughter was so happy and she got to adopt him. Not only did our daughter get her hamster but we also left with a crested gecko. The Manager and young lady that were working that day were simply amazing. And we will for sure be back!

The store itself has always been great in my opinion today we took a chance on getting our dogs groomed there with the main mission of getting their nails clipped and their paw beds trimmed I double checked this was included in the services I booked. No paw beds were trimmed on either of our dogs. When we picked them up they were still pretty wet when they were supposed to be blow dried and their nails are very short. If they wont do something wrong can visible see didnt get done (paw bed trimming) what else are they not doing and still charging for?!?!? Ridiculous!
