Plainfield Pet Resort

I have been bringing my Maltese Skye to Plainfield Per Resort for a few months. The level of professionalism and outstanding grooming service has been consistent. The groomers really love and care about the animals. I feel confident at every drop off that Skye is in good hands. She’s returned to me happy, clean and smells so good.

Please do not take your pets in for grooming here. I requested a grooming for my cat that I had explained was matted and was given a price for full service with bath and nail trim etc. I dropped her off and about 40 mins later they call me to pick her up because they're unable to finish the job. When I was picking her up they charged me for the full service price even though the shave was not complete, the bath did not happen and the ear cleaning did not happen. I asked why I was getting charged full price and the response I received was that they don't separate/ itemize services. I was charged for everything even though none of the services were completed. I think customers need to be communicated that this is how you charge regardless if services are completed. The groomer also kept say

First of all I should say that one time we had an amazing experience with a groomer and there was completely different receptionist. And now coming second actually third time leaving with full of not anger but the idea that I don’t want to bring my dog to this place . This lady is smth. Very unprofessional. 0 customer service. First time I didn’t want to leave a review but this time cuz it’s a second time I’m wasting my time coming. I wish only success to every and particular this business. But they probably need to either educate this lady what is customer service and be more engaged and nice or just hire someone more pleasant.

I brought my little 8 lb. dog to the Plainfield Pet Resort to be groomed on 9/27. After picking her up I noticed she still had huge, dried eye boogers. They weren’t even moist! I don’t think they even bathed her! What they did trim was all uneven! I paid extra to have her nails drumeled and they were still long! It’s expensive to have my little dog groomed, but I’m alright with it if it’s done well! I also gave a 20% tip, because I didn’t notice what a HORRIBLE job it was until after I left. I’ll NEVER go back!!! I called them on my way home and it was pretty clear that nothing would be done to rectify the issue!!!

Took my dog for a walk in nail trim. The young lady at reception as well as the groomer herself were both very nice. My dog has a lot of energy and was very excited to meet people and they handled her well without even batting an eye. Plus her nails look great too. Thank you!
