I had a disappointing experience. I normally write good reviews. I went to them based on friends recommendations. I paid for a private lesson for basic obedience for a puppy I had rescued. The instructor gave almost too much information, rushing through it, making it hard to focus on specific skills. She didn’t ask me any questions about what I wanted. She also said “ you’ve never had a dog before” - ( not true - assuming) also making statements about the dog like she was an expert when we had only been there a few minutes. This specific trainer seemed to be lacking in listening skills and seemed almost annoyed. By the end of the lesson I felt I’d learned very little and wasted my money. I would use them again but not for private lesson.

Took my puppy Rottweiler to the puppy kindergarten and the continued class. Overall the first class was pretty good and contained a lot of tricks and learning methods I was able to apply to my dog well. The second class is where things went downhill. A lot of the times the trainer (older woman) would be repeating and teaching the same basic commands such as stay or recall. Barely any new information was learned from this continued class and I almost started to feel like she would just drag the class on to make it past the hour of training. Overall would not recommend. The trainer would even tell stories of times where she couldn’t even control or soothe her own dog.

The staff is always professional and so good at what they do! Bev works with Doc on his nose work skill set and Jane trains Wyatt to be the best puppy he can be. My boys appreciate all the work that their trainers put into their classes.

If you can take a class with Kim I would HIGHLY recommend. Kim is very knowledgeable, patient, and attentive. Her assistant and her give indivual attention during the beginning of class which is awesome because you have time to ask specific questions. My fiance and I really debated rehoming our adolescent dog as she was a little too much for us. During our first puppy class we surely thought she would be kicked out. We ended up taking 2 classes ( 12 weeks total ). I could not be happier. Our adolescent is not perfect but seeing her behavior change from week 1 to 12 was truly amazing. The interesting part is , my mom was recommend Narnia by a pet store manager ... didn't recommend their own training. I'm truly grateful for our experience and appreciate the support from Kim and her assistan

We have taken our dog here for two behavior training sessions, Beginning Obedience and Manners & Self-Control. For the first class, we craved help in communicating with our puppy and learning how to train. The instructors were incredibly helpful with presenting information to the group, and with providing one-on-one help. When we were ready to go to the next level, Manners & Self-Control helped us tackle more significant behaviors like leash training and interacting with house guests. Again, we were able to receive individual help with our questions, in addition to the group training being very useful. I like the group training format, where I can work with my dog and not feel scrutinized by the instructors, but also receive feedback occasionally as they walk by. I never felt put on the s
