After an anal gland expression service with groomer Christina at this location on 1/19/26, my dog developed severe swelling within 24 hours that progressed into a ruptured abscess requiring veterinary treatment. He experienced significant pain and we incurred unexpected medical expenses. I contacted the store and was told a manager would call me back, but no one ever followed up. Very disappointed with both the grooming service and the lack of accountability.

The doctors are very thorough. Give us a call to let us know the status of their visit. Scout and Hunter don’t look forward to going to the doctor, but they always leave with wagging tails and happy faces. The staff was friendly and professional thank you very much Petsmart. Came here to get my dog a new collar tag and left with some good dog treats and toys. Checked out everything else while I was there. There were cats for adoption in the very back that were really cute and hopefully they get adopted soon! They had Guinea pigs and birds as well as some tiny hamsters. The worker by the fish was a bit rude and the employees weren’t super friendly, but otherwise a good experience at the Rancho Mission Viejo Petsmart.

I love this RSM PetSmart, mostly because of Christina! She has been so helpful with my new puppy and all the supplies I need. Christina reminds me of old-school employees in the way that she knows both my and my pet’s name and is so cheerful while doing her job. I frequent this location for my pet’s prescription food, and occasionally other pet supplies. The staff here is always really nice and accommodating! Every time I’ve had a question, someone is always available to help. I have also had a very positive experience bringing my dog in for grooming services. Would recommend!
